Congratulations to Emma and Kaylee (Year 10, 2023) who were successful in securing a two year school-based traineeship with Creating Chances for 2024-25.
The girls will join the Creating Chances team as school-based trainees where they will complete their senior studies at Chifley College Senior Campus, study a Certificate III in Sport & Recreation (online) as well as attend one day of paid work a week.
Emma and Kaylee attended a team retreat with Creating Chances at the end of January which consisted of facilitation workshops and connecting with other school-based trainees. The girls will shortly begin going in to schools with head facilitators to help deliver wellbeing, leadership and coaching programs to students.
We wish the girls all the best with their studies and employment pathway. We’re also excited to welcome Creating Chances back for 2024 as they deliver Pacific Waves, Rugby: Tackle Life and other programs at Shalvey Campus.
