Our school is an exciting and busy place to be. There is always so much happening both inside and outside of the classroom. By using social media, we have the opportunity to control our digital reputation and build a positive school profile online. With this in mind, we aim to keep you as informed and up to date as we can through various means of communication which are outlined below.
School Newsletter
Our newsletter is produced twice a term. The newsletter contains schools news stories fro events, excursions and prorgrams, student and school achievement and general school information. It is mailed home to parents/carers and is also uploaded to our website and Facebook page where it can be viewed digitally.
Skoolbag App
Our school app is available for free, for all smartphones and tablets from the App Store and Google Play Store – just search Shalvey Campus. On our app you can find general school information, update student information under ‘forms' and view our school calendar. Our app is also used to send reminders and important updates/announcements.
Facebook
Our school Facebook page is used to celebrate student achievement and showcase many of the exciting things taking place at Shalvey Campus. We may use our page to post announcements or reminders.
Instagram
Our school Instagram account is used to share photos and videos of school events and day-to-day life at Shalvey Campus to inform parents and community of exciting events as they happen.
Twitter
Our school Twitter account is used primarily to share news and connect with businesses, organisations and public figures in areas such as arts, community, culture, education and sport.
